The followers of Mirza Ghulam Qadiani [1840-1908] endeavor to deceive people by using the names and teachings of the Last Prophet Muhammad Suall Allahu ‘Alayhi WaSallam. Muslims know and believe that Ahmad is another name for the Last Prophet Muhammad Suall Allahu ‘Alayhi WaSallam.
In the Qur’an, Allah SWT says:
وَإِذْ قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكُم مُّصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ
وَمُبَشِّرًا بِرَسُولٍ يَأْتِي مِن بَعْدِي اسْمُهُ أَحْمَدُ ۖ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ قَالُوا هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ
" And (remember) when 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), said: "O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allah unto you confirming the Taurat [(Torah) which came] before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad. But when he (Ahmad i.e. Muhammad SAW) came to them with clear proofs, they said: "This is plain magic."

It is evident that Prophet ‘Isa ‘AlayhisSalaam was referring to the Last Prophet Muhammad Suall Allahu ‘Alayhi WaSallam when he gave the glad tidings of his arrival.
There are Ahadeeth in Saheeh Bukhari, Saheeh Muslim and Mishkat in which Prophet Muhammad Suall Allahu ‘Alayhi WaSallam says “Ahmad” is his name. One such saying is quoted below:
“I have several names: I am Muhammad, and I am Ahmad, and I am Al-Maahi through whom Allah eradicates kufr, and I am al-Haashir through whom the people will gather at my feet, and I am al-‘Aaqib after who there is no Prophet.”

In another authentic saying, the Last Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu ‘Alayhi WaSallam declares that the glad-tidings given by Prophet ‘Isa ‘AlayhisSalaam refers to none other than the Last Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu ‘Alayhi WaSallam.“
I am the du’a of Ibrahim (‘AlayhisSalaam), I am the glad-tidings given by ‘Isa (‘AlayhisSalaam), and I am my mother’s dream...”
(Tafseer Ibn Katheer, Surah Baqarah and Surah Saff; Musnad Ahmad)
Mirza Qadiani, his sons and his successors believed and wrote that “Ahmad” in Surah Saff, verse six (61:6), refers to Mirza Qadiani. This is absolute disbelief (kufr). To deny even one verse of the Qur’an excludes a person from Islam. Hence, besides many other reasons, Mirza Qadiani and his followers are non-Muslims without the slightest doubt, as they deny the Finality of Prophethood, believe in Mirza Qadiani to be that Prophet which the Qur’anic verse 61:6 refers to and deny many authentic Ahadeeth in which “Ahmad” is another name used for nobody other than the Final Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu ‘ Alayhi WaSallam.
The Qadiani choice of the name “Ahmadiyya” typifies their major deception. On all the books penned by the founder of the Qadiani cults, the author’s name is “Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani”. This was the name Mirza Qadiani’s parents chose for him – they and the Muslims of the era also believed ‘Ahmad’ to be the name of Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu ‘Alayhi WaSallam. Thus, the name rendered Mirza Qadiani to be the Servant of Ahmad SallAllahu ‘Alayhi WaSallam – and not ‘Ahmad’ himself.
Mirza Qadiani’s name is “Ghulam Ahmad”. For the propagation purposes of the deceptive Qadiani cult, his followers display him as a very faithful and loyal servant to his Master, quoting his earlier words where he declared he is intoxicated in the love of his ‘Master’, the Last Prophet Muhammad Suall Allahu ‘Alayhi WaSallam. On the contrary, Mirza Qadiani actually believes that he is the Master himself, and even superior to the Final Messenger SallAllahu ‘Alayhi WaSallam. This is the worst defamation case in history. In simple words, claiming to be ‘Ahmad’ and the Servant of Ahmad at the same time is the greatest deception by the Qadiani cults.
APPEAL TO MUSLIMS
This is always overlooked by Muslims who have no knowledge of the sugar-coated, poisonous deception of Qadianis and refer to the followers of Mirza Qadiani as ‘Ahmadis’, just Qadianis they want. The sole purpose of this Qadiani deception is to declare the followers of the real Muhammad SallAllahu ‘Alayhi WaSallam, kaafirs and the followers of the fake “Ahmad” true and real Muslims. Genuine Ahmadis and real Muhammadis are those who believe Mirza Qadiani is a kaafir and have strong belief in the Finality of Prophethood.
I would kindly request my Muslim brethren to this message and refrain from deliberately calling a follower of Mirza Qadiani an ‘Ahmadi’ as it is kufr and Haraam.
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! And peace be on the Messengers! And all the praise and thanks be to Allah, Lord of the 'Alameen (mankind, jinns and all that exists).

"HIS NAME IS AHMAD

In this verse the advent of a prophet has been heralded whose name shall be Ahmad. It is said that holy Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) is mentioned in this verse. This interpretation is acceptable but it should be kept in mind that his name was Muhammad, not Ahmad."

“Call to mind also when Jesus, son of Mary said. O children of Isreal, surely I am Allah’s Messenger unto you. Fulfilling the prophecies contained in the Torah, which was revealed before me, and giving glad tidings of a messenger who will come after me whose name will be Ahmad. But who does greater wrong than he who forges a lie against Allah while he is invited to Islam? Allah guides not the wrongdoing people. They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, however much the disbelievers may dislike it. He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, however much those who associate partners with Allah may dislike it." 61:7-10
These verses predict a messenger who will come and expose the errors and mistakes that had crept in to all religions, thus establishing his as superior. As a note, those who associate partners with Allah are the Christians, and these verses imply that this messenger would arrive when Christianity would be at its peak, and would find his teachings very disturbing. Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad began his mission when the British Empire ruled the world, and the Christian missionaries had unlimited funds and resources at their disposal. He destroyed the doctrine of Christianity by proving the Jesus survived the crucifixion and was buried in Kashmir."
